As the former Executive Director of Prairie Family Business Association, Stephanie worked closely with nearly 300 businesses across a wide range of industries. She has worked with multi-generational family enterprises, business owners, and rising leaders to help them thrive through generations. Her work focused on advancing family communication, leadership development, governance, succession planning, and long-term stewardship.
Stephanie has expertise in family governance, board formation, family retreats, and facilitating conversations for families in the early stages of establishing intentional communication and decision-making practices. She is skilled at helping families create productive forums for discussion, align around shared values and goals, and develop governance structures that support both family harmony and business success.
Stephanie works with families to design and facilitate family meetings, establish family councils and boards, develop governance frameworks, and prepare future generations for responsible ownership and leadership. She is known for her thoughtful facilitation style, practical approach, and ability to create environments where families can engage in candid and constructive conversations.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University's Ivy College of Business and an MBA from the University of South Dakota's Beacom School of Business. She lives in Ohio with her husband and four children.
