Peter Mueller is an agricultural sciences student at Cornell University with a focus on agriculture and human resource management. Since 2018, he has worked at Willow Bend Farm, a 6,000-cow dairy operation, where he manages feed inventory valuation, supports calf health programs, and operates large-scale machinery across 9,000 acres. His international experience includes a season at Smith Family Farm in Australia, where he gained exposure to grazing-based dairy systems and worked with GPS-guided harvest technologies. He first joined Generation6 in the summer of 2025, contributing to the launch of the educational platform for enterprising families.
At Cornell, Peter currently serves as President of NEXGENS, a national order of student-led family business organizations, where he coordinates cross-campus collaboration, governance education, and leadership development for next-generation family enterprise leaders. He’s also an active member of the Dairy Science Club, participating in international study programs and industry-focused seminars.
He has received several honors, including the Seal of Civic Readiness Award, the Midlakes High School Senior Scholarship, and selection as a New York State Boys State Delegate. Peter’s interests center on agricultural sustainability, family business governance, and continuous professional growth. Across his roles, he brings practical agricultural expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to strengthening the systems that support both family enterprises and modern dairy operations.
