Blaze Konkol is an executive coach, facilitator, and leadership development advisor who helps individuals and teams navigate complex conversations, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and work more productively together. His approach combines a deep understanding of individual personalities and perspectives with practical tools that help clients shift how they think, communicate, and engage with others.

Blaze has extensive experience coaching professionals through leadership transitions and helping individuals better understand and leverage their strengths. His work focuses particularly on communication, interpersonal dynamics, and the ability to approach difficult conversations constructively—capabilities that are especially important in the complex relationships of family enterprises.

Prior to his consulting work, Blaze served as Senior Director of Career Management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he led a global coaching team serving approximately 1,800 students across Chicago, London, and Hong Kong, and more than 53,000 alumni worldwide. Previously, he held a variety of leadership development, coaching, and talent development roles with Deloitte in the United States and Australia. As a Senior Manager at Deloitte, he established an internal leadership coaching practice serving partners, directors, and senior managers.

Blaze holds undergraduate degrees in English and History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. He is certified in Hogan Assessments, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect and Korn Ferry 360, the Leadership Versatility Index, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and is a provisionally certified Crucial Conversations trainer.
